Billie Jeanne Retz

"Billie Retz, 76, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at her Muncie, Indiana, home, surrounded by her family. Billie was born in Muncie, Indiana, on April 24, 1947, and attended Muncie Public Schools. Billie later married her former husband, Michael Retz, and moved to Yorktown, Indiana, to raise their children. Billie was a very devoted mother and loved nothing more than spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Billie loved to travel. She was also a very talented seamstress, making many beautiful quilts for her family and friends. Billie will be sadly missed.
Billie leaves behind three adult children, Jodi Sanders, Muncie, Brian Retz (wife, Judy), Indianapolis, and Jennifer Pickering (husband, Kurt), Muncie, 6 grandchildren, Tiffany Whitaker (husband, Justin), Muncie, Brock Sanders, Losantville, Jacob Retz (wife, Karlee), Peoria, Illinois, Jack Retz, Indianapolis, Tristan Pickering, Muncie, and Noah Pickering, Muncie, and 4 great-grandchildren, Harper Whitaker, Peyton Retz, Palmer Whitaker, and Isaac Retz. Billie was pre-deceased by her aunt, Pauline McFall, and Pauline's husband, John Mcfall, who raised Billie.
The family is honoring Billie's request for no funeral service. There will be a Celebration of Life for family only at a later date."
