Billy Asby Obituary
Billy was never idle; he had a remarkable ability to fix almost anything. He had a green thumb and found beauty in flowers and was a passionate fan of the Carolina Panthers. He rarely missed a game and cheered with unwavering enthusiasm.
Billy was preceded in death by his father Johnnie Asby, and his mother Jessie Raye Asby. He is survived by his loving family: sisters Vesta Ann Meadows from Aurora, NC and Betty Sikes of Washington, NC; brothers Jerry Asby and Kenny Asby of Aurora, NC; his cherished son Gregory Asby; grandchildren Steven, Tanner, Tyler, Logan, and Alyssa; and his great-granddaughter Mckinley Claire Asby.
A graveside service will be held at Oakhaven Cemetery in Edward, NC, on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Billy will be remembered for his spirit, his passion for life, and the love he shared with those around him. His presence will be dearly missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
