Ryker Asby Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home on Aug. 21, 2024.
Ryker Holliday Asby was born Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 6:42 am to his loving parents, Alana Leigh and Bayley Asby. At just 4lbs 13oz and 17" long, it was love at first sight.
As surprised as we were to be expecting again so shortly after the birth of our first born, it was even more surprising when he made his arrival eight weeks early. We struggled with understanding why our baby boy joined us so early and knew it would be a difficult road ahead because of this. But now we know why; so we could enjoy even more time with our little cowboy. We were so blessed to have 2 months and 20 days with our sweetest Ryker. He was full of love to share with all of those who had the pleasure of meeting him. His favorite pastimes were cuddling with his mama and daddy and listening to Colter Wall. He had the prettiest blue eyes and a beautiful head of curly blonde hair. He was loved by so many people during his short time here. Ryker was truly treasured, and we will always cherish the gift of our special time with him.
Ryker leaves behind his mama, daddy, and big sister Everleigh, who love him beyond measure, his maternal grandparents, Angela and Joe Jeffries, and Aunt Eva of Boerne, TX, and Aunt Riley of Gardnerville, NV, and paternal grandparents, Sierra and Mike Asby, and Aunt Mikaela of Carson City, NV, who all adore him. Family and friends near and far will miss him greatly and we will always remember him as our little cowboy.
"We'll see you on the other side bubby boy."
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00 am at Ebensberger Fisher Funeral Home in Boerne, TX. A private gathering will be held following the service at the home of Angela and Joe Jeffries.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
