Billy Carol Bryant, 79, of Folkston, GA passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on September 21, 1943 to the late George Neal Bryant and Belle Altman Bryant. Billy served his country in the Air Force for 9 years where he worked on air craft and was Crew Chief on fighter air craft. He worked at Lockheed Georgia Company for 4 years as a flight test mechanic and worked in the automotive industry for 30 years. He retired in 1997 due to Agent Orange complications. Billy’s hobbies included golf, fishing and many other things. He was a charter and life member of VFW 10095 Hilliard and a life member of DAV Chapter 1. He loved Nascar, Georgia Football and Atlanta Braves Baseball.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years; Sandra Bryant, 6-children; Latashia (Robby) Davis, Michael Bryant, Joey (Jessica) Fleming, Michelle (Glenn) Carrasquillo, Neal (Jeney) Bryant and Gaston (Sissy) Bryant, 15-grandchildren; Kristina, Robert, Thomas, Emily, Sarahjane, Montgomery, Ryan, Destiny, Adam, Joe, Chris, Timothy, Diana, Ella and Daphne, 5-great-grandchildren; Mina, Kaden, Arabella, Colton and Avrie, 2-brothers; Bobby (Kay) Bryant and Jeff Bryant, and 3 very special friends; Rod Maggart, Joe Conner and Henry Reed.
A service will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Jacoby officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Memorialization will be by cremation.
