Brenda Lafaye Stivender Green, 59, of St. George, GA passed away March 25, 2026 in Jacksonville, FL surrounded by what she considered her greatest gift, her husband and children. She was born October 21, 1966 in Jacksonville, FL. She was employed with the Charlton County School System for the last 23 years and retired to take the full time role of the best nana for her grandbabies. She was a member of Shepherds Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kurtis Stivender, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years: Larry Green; 2-sons and daughters-in-law: Josh & Kelsey Green and Caleb & Serina Green; 3-grandbabies: Maxlynn Green, Oliver Green and Laren Green; her mother: Carolyn Ann Tucker Stivender; 2-brothers and sisters-in-law: Kurtis & Stephanie Stivender and Stewart & Stephanie Stivender and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family is comforted by her last words that she would be waiting for them at Jesus’ feet.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 28 at 11:00 AM at the St. George Church of God with Pastor Grady Albritton officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
