Funeral services for Mr. Billy Eugene Davis, age 82, will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 12 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Davis Grove Cemetery in Bradford, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Davis left this world peacefully surrounded by his two daughters and granddaughter on January 6th, 2025, at the Texas Health Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a retired Mechanic from Walls Industries in Cleburne, Texas. He was born in Gibson County on February 20, 1942. He was a very crafty man who always had a project to do, always staying busy and on the move. He was always willing to help anyone and asked for nothing in return.

 He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Beverly Jean Davis; his parents, James Eldridge Davis, and Aileen Midyett; his sister, Wanda Louise Bryant; and his brother, James Edward Davis.

He is survived by his daughters, Gina Renee Davis and Carmelita "DeeDee" Taylor of Joshua, TX; his granddaughter, Cherie McMillan (Bryant Bullock) of Benbrook, TX; his niece, Lisa McKinney (Jason); his nephew, Keith Bryant and many other great and great-great nephews and nieces including friends who were considered family.
