Billy Dan Edwards

Billy Dan Edwards of Willow Street, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at the age of 71.
Bill was born on June 3, 1954, and grew up in Denton, Texas. He married the love of his life, Vicki (Hite) Edwards, on October 26, 1974, beginning a 50-year marriage built on faith, devotion, and unwavering support.
He was the proud father of three children: Christina Edwards, Bethany Crisman, and Chad Edwards, and the doting grandfather to ten grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart. His legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and strong moral compass.
Bill's faith was his foundation. As a dedicated servant of the Lord, he lived a life of humility, love, and compassion. His love for God was evident in everything he did, and he was an inspiration to all who knew him. He found joy in sharing his faith with others and always made time to lend a helping hand to those in need. He will be remembered for his deep love for his family and his dry humor. Bill's faith and godliness will continue to guide and inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A service celebrating Bill's life will be held at Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 1225 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville PA on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bill's memory Calvary Independent Baptist Church at the above address.
