Billy Kenneth Hillhouse

Billy Kenneth Hillhouse, 72, of Perry, FL passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Hillhouse was born August 10, 1952, in Jasper, FL to the late Frank Hillhouse & Eliose Padgett Hillhouse. Mr. Hillhouse graduated from Wakulla High School in 1970 and joined the United States Marine Corps (MOS Infantry), achieving the rank SSgt and receiving the Humanitarian Service Medal, National Defense Medal, and the Korean Defense Medal during his tenure. After serving his country, Mr. Hillhouse, concluded his career at MCLB, Albany, Ga. as a Small Arms Technician, where he had over 30 years of service (18 years active duty). He lived all over the world during his career but always referred to Perry, FL as his home due to family ties and his enthusiasm for flats fishing. Mr. Hillhouse had a variety of interests: creative writing, history, riding his Harley Davidson, fishing and being with family. 

Mr. Hillhouse Is proceeded in death by a sister, Ruth Gray and brother, George Hillhouse.

Mr. Hillhouse is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Nancy Hillhouse of Perry, FL (2) Sons; Shane Hillhouse and wife Norah of Leesburg, GA, Jason Hillhouse and wife Melissa of Albany, GA. (1) Daughter; Dawn Etchells and husband Scott of D’Iberville, MS, and (8) Grandchildren; Knox, Raegan, Lily, Lana, Frank, Robert, Lauren and Kai.
