Billy O'Neal Irwin

Billy O'Neal Irwin, age 68, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Health of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Billy was born in Frankfort, Germany on May 16, 1957, the son of Sarah Joiner Irwin of Hopkinsville and the late Thomas Phillip Irwin. Billy was a workaholic, from barbering to retail management. He cut hair on Post for over 11 years and had his own barber shop for over 8 years. He retired from retail management from Place 1 Liquor Store and Kroger's Liquor Store. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Kendall Irwin.

In addition to his mother, Sarah Joiner Irwin of Hopkinsville; survivors include his brother, Thomas "Peanut" (Christine) Irwin of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Rhonda Irwin and Vickey Irwin both of Hopkinsville; his nephew, Paul Irwin of Hopkinsville; and his two nieces, Christian Irwin of Chattanooga, TN and Amanda Irwin of Clarksville, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Max's Hope Pet Rescue.
