Michael Owen Fritz

Michael Owen Fritz, age 78, of Fairview, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Elkton Nursing and Rehab of natural causes. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with burial to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Mr. Fritz was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on September 3, 1947, the son of the late Robert Alexander Fritz and Frances Elizabeth Wright Fritz. He is a proud veteran where he served his country in the United States Air Force. After his time in the Air Force, Michael worked as a Park Ranger for the US Government and at Buy-Rite before retiring. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Fairview where he was also a Sunday School Teacher. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert Fritz, Jr. and Herman Edward Fritz.

Survivors include his brother, William Joseph Fritz and wife Linda of Fairview, KY; his sister, Sue Futrell and husband Kenneth of Fairview, KY; along with several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Gideons International or a charity of your choice.
