Billy Ferrall Yancey, Jr., 68 of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away with his loving family at his side on August 13, 2022. He was born in England, Arkansas on June 1, 1954, to Billy Yancey, Sr., and Helen Jo Yancey.
Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane “Sue” Yancey of Lonoke; sons, Billy F. Yancey III (Laura) of Austin, TX, Chris D. Yancey (Zaineth) of Fulshear, TX; grandchildren Dylan Yancey of Jonesboro, AR, Connor, Miles, and Owen Yancey of Austin TX, Tobias and Luca Yancey of Fulshear, TX; sister Nita Morris (Keith) of Mayflower, AR, Mike Yancey (Cindy) of Jacksonville, AR; sister in law Teresa Yancey; and partner in crime Gail Sanders who helped take care of Bill the last couple of months of his life; and a host of nieces, nephews, close family and friends.
Bill was a hard-working man who loved spending time in the country with his family and friends. Some of his biggest passions were working on hot rods and mowing grass at his home in Pettus. He lived his life to the fullest. A simple man.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Don Yancey of North Little Rock, AR
The family would like to thank you for honoring his memory with your presence, thoughts, and prayers.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM, August 22, 2022, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM at Boyd Funeral Home, in Lonoke.
