Billy W. Law, born on January 28, 1945, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away at the age of 80 after a recent battle with cancer. Billy had a heart of gold and had a special way of touching everyone's hearts, known for his great sense of humor, his love for family, friends, and of course chocolate.
A devoted family man, Billy is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Mary Law wife, Lucille, and his son, Kenneth Sr., as well as two grandsons, Kenneth and Christopher. He is survived by his daughters, Connie and Billie, along with five grandchildren: Dawn, Ernest, Desirae, Loucrisha, and Jasmine. His legacy continues through thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was loving uncle to "His girls" in Albuquerque. He loved his extended Law, Moseley, El Rito, and Albuquerque family.
Billy was a dedicated journeyman lineman in Denver. He was the owner of Law and Son Construction for many years. Later in life, he retired from the City of Espanola. He found joy in hunting, fishing, spending time in the mountains, and ranching. We would like to say a special thank you to his grandson Ernest and wife Angel and his great granddaughter Star for being his caretakers as well as Red willow Hospice and Glenda "the warden" Hogan and nursing staff of St. Vincent hospital.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public service.
The family of Billy Law has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home of the Española Valley 505-747-7477.
