Billy Lee Luecht passed away December 4, 2024, at the age of 66. Billy was born on August 28, 1958. He was a resident of Columbia, Missouri and a native of Malcom, Iowa. Billy was a loving husband and brother.
Billy enjoyed being a "dog dad" to Emily. He also enjoyed camping with friends and his beloved wife, Cindy. Billy was an avid bowler and even considered going pro.
After Billy graduated from BGM High School he served honorably in the Air Force before beginning his civilian career as computer programmer/analyst at Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance. He also went on to work at American Agrisurance in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Columbia Insurance Group in Columbia, Missouri. Billy retired in 2021.
Although Billy is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his wife Cindy (Hunzelman) Luecht, his dog Emily, and his siblings Jo Luecht-Medlin, Lois Damron and Linda Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Norma (Korthof) Luecht, his brother Gerrit Luecht and his beloved dogs Valentine, Baron, Kaiser and Henry.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be determined.
