Glorian Luecht
(nee Lauscher)
Glorian passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving children. She was 94 years old. Glorian was the much-loved mother of Jeffrey (Kerry) Luecht, Gwen (Russell) Leair, Lee Ann (Mark) Knippel, Linda (Steven) Revers and Mary (Mark) Wahlgren. Cherished grandma of Erika Preuss, Natalie Irzyk, Jonathan Luecht, Dana Leair, Leslie Sauer, Gregory Luecht, David Revers, Kenneth Leair, Daniel Knippel, Olivia Sadowske, Whitney Nelson, Beau Knippel, and Ryan Revers. Wonderful great-grandma of 21 great-grandchildren.
Glorian met and fell in love with her beloved husband Robert "Bob" in 1955 and shared 68 years of marriage together before his death. Glorian was a devoted and loving caregiver to Bob for many years. Her care was quiet, constant, and full of grace-a reflection of the deep bond they shared and the strength of her love.
Glorian lived her life devoted to her family. Raising her five children was her life's work-and she did it with boundless love. Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped, the values she instilled, and the deep bonds she nurtured.
Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting aroma of meals made from scratch and served simply with care. Glorian had a joyful spirit and a sharp mind, especially when it came to card games. Whether gathered around the kitchen table for a game of cribbage or teaching her grandchildren the rules of Witch, she brought a touch of mischief to every hand.
One of her greatest joys was spending time in the north woods, especially at the lake in Eagle River. Together with Bob, they were able to share their dream of building a cabin, board by board, and making memories with their children, grandchildren and many relatives throughout their lives. Some of the best memories included so many boat rides and sitting on the dock watching the kids swim and fish; it's where she found peace and happiness.
In retirement Glorian and Bob traveled the United States in their camper, enjoying the beauty of each new place. Their favorite destination was Arizona, where they spent winters as snowbirds for many years, basking in the sunshine and spending time with all their friends. In her later years, Bingo became her game. She loved the thrill of the numbers, the camaraderie of the group, and the simple joy of shouting "Bingo!" with a sparkle in her eye.
Above all, you were always guaranteed a laugh-especially if you dared to give her advice. Her wit was quick and her laughter infectious. She had a way of turning everyday moments into something lighthearted and memorable.
Though our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing that her love surrounds us still-in every story we share, every lesson we remember, and every moment we live in her honor.
Rest peacefully, Mom. You gave us everything, and we will carry you with us always.
A celebration of Glorian's life will be held on Wednesday, October 8, at HOLY APOSTLES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16000 W. National Ave., New Berlin, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation.
Interment at Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin.
