Billy Carroll McDaniel

Billy Carroll McDaniel, 69, of Hardy AR, formerly of Marked Tree, AR, left his earthly home on February 20, 2025 at 11:48 AM to be with his Savior. Billy was born on March 21, 1955 in Little Rock, AR to Billy Freeman McDaniel and Evelyn McKinney. Billy was a Marked Tree High School graduate and served his country proudly as a United States Marine. He was very talented at most sports but remembered as a football player, a hunter, a fisherman, a coach, and an accomplished singer/guitarist. He worked as a carpenter, the owner of several automotive businesses, and traveled the road as a musician. Billy was very loved by his family and friends, and never met a stranger. He always treated everyone as family, no matter who you were. Family was the center of Billy's life. He grew up with a wonderful older family, they instilled in him a true love and respect for others. They taught him to always go that extra mile for someone in need. Billy is proceeded in death by his parents, Billy Freeman McDaniel and Evelyn McKinney; grandparents, Chester and Virgie Hipps, Vernie McDaniel and Giulah Jacobs. Billy leaves to cherish his memory four sons and a daughter, Lance (Michelle) McDaniel of Marion, AR, Jennifer(Case) Cooper of Marion AR, Billy (Lacey) McDaniel of Jonesboro, AR, Tristan McDaniel of Lepanto, AR, and Trevor McDaniel of Jonesboro, AR; grandchildren, Cody (Brinkley) Doyle, Madison McDaniel (Seth) Hunter, Brennan McDaniel, Case Cooper, Collyns Jo Cooper, Marley McDaniel, Merritt McDaniel, Blakley McDaniel, and Anakin McDaniel; great grandchildren, Dax Hunter, Talan Hunter, and Levi Hunter; sister, Shelly (David) Becknell of Marked Tree, AR; and loving companion, Sheila Harsson of Marked Tree, AR. Billy also leaves behind his aunts, nieces, nephews, as well as extended family, and a lifetime of friends.
