Billy "Mac" McDonald

Billy (Mac) Darrel McDonald, age 81, passed away on December 21, 2025 in Bloomington, Indiana and was placed in the care of Hickiman-Strunk Funeral Home. He was born on December 15, 1944 in Worley Hilltop, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 1:00pm at Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in McCreary Memorial Gardens.
Mac's love for his family was always present. Growing up, he was affectionately nicknamed "Fuzz." He spent most of his working life as an insurance sales manager, traveling throughout the state of Indiana. Mac had a deep passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outside. He was an avid golfer and continued to play until a shoulder injury prevented him from doing so. He loved sports, especially cheering for the Cincinnati Reds and the University of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Kevin McDonald; his grandson, Justin McDonald; his parents, Clarence and Evelyn (Tucker) McDonald; his sisters, Charletta Sumner, and Patricia Satka; his brothers, Paul Gene McDonald, Donald Dean McDonald, and Terry Wayne McDonald.
He is survived by his sons, Darrel Len McDonald (Jackie) and Danny McDonald; his daughters, Kelly Clark (Gary) and Kimberly Todd (John); his grandchildren, Fawn McDonald, Darrel McDonald (Caitlin), Sally McDonald, Kyle McDonald (Breanna), Michael McDonald (Chelsea), Danny McDonald, Erin Robinson (Michael), Natalie Clark, Eric Todd (Ashley), Corey Todd (Brittany), 22 great-grandchildren and his sisters, Judy Warman (David) and Sue Ridener.
