Johnny Everett Higginbotham, age 62 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Sunday, February 15, 2026 at his home.
He was born in Whitley County, Kentucky on October 29, 1963 the son of the late Albert and Alma (Ridner) Higginbotham. Johnny had been a Truck Driver for McClane. Driving the truck, flea marketing, and watching wrestling on TV were his favorite past times.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa (Smith) Higginbotham; and brother, Jamie Higginbotham.
Survivors include his daughters, September Rollins of Whitley City, Kentucky, Stephanie Head of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Leshia Wright of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and Sandra Wright of Detroit, Michigan; brother, Tim Higginbotham (Cindy) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, sisters, Janice Perry (Randell) and Brenda Swain (JR) both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; and Nine Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, February 20, 2026 at the Pleasant Knob United Baptist Church with Bro. Daniel Perry and Bro. John Goodin officiating. Burial to follow in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Friday at the Church.
