Billy Don Morris, 83, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, peacefully departed this life on Monday morning, December 15, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born November 15, 1942, in Ashland City. He is preceded in death by parents, Belton "Jimmy" and Louise (Choate) Deville.

He served in the United States Army National Guard and was of Methodist faith. He graduated from ACHS class of 1961 and went to Dale Carnegie Managerial School. He was a man of many trades, working in territory sales at Athens Paper Company and later as a Manager with Security Federal Savings Bank. He was a 55-year member of the Masonic Lodge 604, a member of Al Menah Shriner Clown Unit, President of Lions Club/American Legion and elected to go to Boys State.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Myrna (Tucker) Morris; daughters, Dana Michelle Denney (Darrin) and Robyn Ann Medley (Neil); and grandchildren, Tristen Denney (Katie), Sydney Ann Denney, Sophia Rose Medley, and Georgia Paige Medley; and half-brother, Jackie Deville (Holly).

Funeral service will be Monday, December 22, 2025, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Rev. Allison Gilliam, D. MIN and Darrin Denney officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 1pm to 6pm with a Masonic Service at 6pm. Visitation will resume on Monday from 11am until service hour of 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ashland City UMC, Wounded Warriors or Al Menah Shriners Children's Hospital. Cheatham County Funeral Home LLC 615-792-2552 online condolences may be made at cheathamcountyfh.com
