Cleo Marie Morris

Cleo Marie Morris of Plainfield, Indiana passed away February 15, 2026, at 79 years of age. She was born June 25, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Rolland J. and Charlotte Ester (Cunningham) Gorrell. Cleo enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, gardening, spending time and caring for her family and others. She had a deep devotion to her spiritual life, spending many hours helping others at various churches throughout her life. Cleo is survived by her sons, Scott Morris, Paul Morris, her sisters, Charlene Haggart, Patty Kitchens, her brothers, David Gorrell, Larry Gorrell, and Mark Gorrell. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Allen Morris, and her sisters, Janice Blanc, Mary Ellen Blye, and Peggy Fields. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with her Funeral Service to be held immediately following at 6:00pm there. Cleo’s wishes were to be cremated, and she will be interred privately at a Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay County, Indiana.
