Billy Gene Nester, age 75 of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at his home. He was born on April 11, 1950 in Fort Smith, to the late Tommy Henry Nester and Clara Belle Long Nester.
Mr. Nester enjoyed fishing in his spare time and was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Wanda Suggs Nester, and a sister-in-law, Betty Sue Suggs.
Those left to cherish his memory include his a step-son, Clyde Miller; three brothers; four sisters; two step-grand daughters, Leaoriea Miller (Mikey) and Cheyenne Miller; eleven great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Bluff Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
