Katherine Nester Obituary Katherine Olive (Dozier) Nester, 95, of Buffalo, passed away Wednesday (April 2, 2025) at Riverside Manor, Newcomerstown.
She was born July 3, 1929 in Greenbriar County WV, daughter of the late John Scott Dozier and Lillian Gertrude Williams Edmunds.
Katherine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Eugene Nester, who passed away December 18, 1992. They were married January 18, 1950. Also deceased are three brothers; four sisters; and a daughter, Donna Jean.
Katherine is survived by her children, Patricia Ann (Richard) Grose of Elk View WV, Drema Darlene (Fred) Lovejoy of St. Albans WV, Michael Eugene (Susan) Nester of Buffalo, Robert Vernon (Hellen) Nester of Puyallop WA, and Pamela Donita (Brad) Blackstone of Uhrichsville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (April 8, 2025) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday (April 9, 2025) at 10 a.m.
Graveside services and burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories (6839 Sissonville Drive, Charleston WV) on Wednesday (April 9, 2025) at 1 p.m.
