Billy Prince Obituary

Billy graduated from Wake Christian Academy in 1985 where he played football and basketball. He loved sports and was an avid Tarheel fan as his family and friends all know!
He was a licensed electrician and worked in the Triangle area for many years. Billy always loved the beach and was happy living there the past two years. He had a special love for dogs and enjoyed spending time with pals "Dusty" and "Jesse" who will certainly miss him. Billy had an outgoing personality and a caring heart. He was dearly loved by his family and many friends and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his two sons, Zachary Prince of Wake County and Luke Prince of Iredell County, one granddaughter and three sisters, Debbie (Joe) Conger, Jan Jackson, and Kim (Wayne) Tew, one niece, three nephews, and one great-niece. He is also survived by his special friends Michelle Walker and Samantha Walker who were such a big part of his life.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, November 29th to share memories and to celebrate Billy's life. This will be held in the Salem Room at the Apex Senior Center located at 63 Hunter Street, Apex, NC from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Wake County SPCA at spcawake.org.

I was so sorry to hear of Billy's passing. He worked with me at Ace Hardware back in the 80's. He always had a smile and was simply a beautiful soul. Through Facebook, I was able to stay somewhat connected and see that smile grow over the years as he and Michelle shared such good times together. He was a hardware man, just like his dad.
