Billy Frank Sears, Sr. of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. A memorial service will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Sears was born in Mansfield, Louisiana on June 11, 1939, to Frank Sears and Ramie Alyne Sears. He was one of eight children. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and he retired from the phone company. He enjoyed growing and propagating daylilies, photography, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Barbara Gail Sears; and son, Billy Frank Sears, II.
He is survived by his wife, Claudia Sears; son, Chad Sears (Sevryn); grandchildren, Bayleigh Sears, Tayler Sears Williams (Brian), and Spencer Sears; great grandchildren, Titus Williams, Stone Williams, and Haven Williams; and six siblings.
