Billy “Homer” Stavely, age 74 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Pulley Stavely Family Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon at the funeral home.
Homer entered this life on June 1, 1949 in Tennessee Ridge, TN, son to the late Emmitt Stavely and Annie Ferrell Stavely. Homer was a family man who always put his family first; he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Homer was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Stavely; grandchild, Kayden Sugg; and six siblings.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Peggy Stavely; children, Kenneth Stavely, Pamela (Brett) Spain, Kathy (Bob) Pulley; siblings, Charles Stavely, Frank Stavely, and Darrell Stavely. Homer also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Christoper Stavely, Breanna Spain, Samantha Spain, Bradley Spain, Trevor Sugg, Daniel Pulley, Brittney McKinnon, Isaiah Skelton, Conway Skelton, Annie Skelton; and great-grandchild, Nova Sugg.
Serving as pallbearers will be Trevor Sugg, Tracy Stavely, Wade Stavely, Michael Stavely, John Stavely, and Benny Baggett.
