Billy "Pat" Westbrook

Billy ‘Pat’ Westbrook, 86, of Callisburg, Texas passed away November 7, 2025 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on October 30, 1939 in Sudan, Texas to Irvin Ray and Bessie Lois (Plumlee) Westbrook.

Pat graduated from Callisburg High School in 1958 and attended Cooke County Junior College. He was an Elder in the Callisburg Church of Christ, which he attended since 1970 upon returning ‘home’ from an several years working in the oilfield in South Louisiana. He was an accomplished driller for Westbrook Oil and Gas for several decades. Pat enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, gardening, and baling hay. He was a devoted husband and loving father.

Pat is survived by his wife, Sherry Gale Van Duker Westbrook of 62 years, son David Westbrook and his wife Leigh Ann Harmon Westbrook, daughters Deborah Westbrook Brooks and her husband Curtis Lynn Brooks, and Angela Westbrook Williams and her husband Frankie Williams. As well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Irvin ‘Ray’ Westbrook and his mother, Bessie Lois Plumlee Westbrook.

The family will receive friends at Callisburg Church of Christ on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Ben Willingham officiating. Interment will be at Callisburg Cemetery. Memorials in honor of Mr. Westbrook may be made to: Callisburg Church of Christ or the American Heart Association.
