Margaret Mozingo, 93, of Gainesville, passed away October 21, 2025 in Gainesville.
Margaret was born August 2, 1932 in Devol, OK. She married Earl Miller on November 11, 1954, uniting their two families. Later in life, she met Ray Mozingo and they married in May of 1995. Margaret loved being outside in God’s creation and enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed playing “42” with her friends and was a devoted member of Callisburg Methodist Church, where she shared her beautiful voice in the choir.
Predeceased by: parents Walter and Myrtle (Monkres) Hill; husband Earl Miller; husband Ray Mozingo; sister Cleo Nichols; brother Jim Hill; sister Mildred Day; son-in-law Donnie Trammell; son-in-law Don Evans; and grandson Larry Evans.
Survived by: son Kenneth Corley and wife Sherry of Sherman; daughter Joyce Trammell of Callisburg; daughter Kay Evans of Lantana; grandchildren Katrina Grewing and husband Bill, Melinda Petty and husband Christopher, Danny Evans and wife Brianna; and Valerie Kelsey; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Margaret’s grandsons: Blake James, Dyllon James, Danny Evans, Casyn Evans, TJ Akins, and Eland Green.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, at the funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Resthaven Cemetery, Gainesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Arcy Hospice or Wesley Oaks Assisted Living & Memory Care.
