Eddie Dean Turner, 77, of Gainesville, Texas passed away October 27, 2025 at his home in Gainesville, Texas surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 26, 1948 in Sherman, Texas to Ezra and Lois (Moss) Turner.

Eddie graduated from Callisburg High School in 1967. He Married the love of his life, Terry Ann Neighbors on December 1, 1973 in Denison, Texas. Eddie had a lifelong career in the oilfield. Eddie was a true example of a hardworking man and was willing to do anything to provide for his family. He was a faithful servant of Jehovah his God. Eddie was an avid collector of coins, old cars and oilfield and western memorabilia. Eddie had the heart of a servant, loved his family and his Heavenly Creator and stayed strong in his faith until his final breath. Eddie is dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Eddie is survived by his wife Terry Ann Turner of Gainesville, daughters; Stephanie Nissen (Jeremy) of Decatur, Heather Huddleston (Cory) of Callisburg, Jennifer Turner of Muenster and Laci Farwell (Justin) of Frisco. Grandchildren: Taylor, Zachary (Jessica), Haylie (Jarrett), Cole, Sarah, Heath, Kiley and a great grandchild, Kenydi who is on the way. Brother Bobby Dan Turner (Charlotte), sister Darlene (Alex), sister Brenda and brother Barry.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ezra and Lois (Moss) Turner and his sister Betty Turner.

The family will receive friends at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Graveside services will be at Dixie Cemetery of Whitesboro on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
