A funeral service for Susan Marie Sinkular, 77, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Tim McLaughlin officiating.
Mrs. Sinkular passed away on October 22, 2025 in Gainesville. She was born on April 11, 1948 in Conneaut, OH.
Sue will be missed dearly by those that knew her. She was always close to her family and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She liked to watch old westerns, knitting, and getting her nails done. She had a passion for growing plants and developed a deep love in reading her Bible.
Mrs. Sinkular was HR director for the City of Gainesville for many years. She also worked for the city of Fort Worth. After retirement, she found her calling in the ministry, spreading the Word of God.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gil Samples and is survived by her loving husband Larry Sinkular. She is also survived by; son Patrick Wynkoop; son Bryan Pasarow and his wife Mariam; daughter Rachel Brewer; son Philip Samples and his wife Lacey; grandchildren: Kathryn Rozell and husband Blaine, Maverick, Lauren, Alex, and Miranda; great-grandchildren Emelia and Grant. Her kindness is evidenced by her many friends.
