Billy Whitehead Obituary
Billy Steven “Steve” Whitehead, 38, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Duke Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born in Alamance County to Robert Lee Whitehead, Jr. and Deborah Overman Whitehead who survives.
Steve was a graduate of Alamance Community College where he earned multiple associate’s degrees in various studies. He was an avid wrestling fan, video gamer and enjoyed watching old television shows.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Deborah Whitehead; a sister, Leslie Shoffner and significant other, Jacob Harrelson; brothers, Robert Clifton Whitehead and wife Jennifer, and Johnathon “Mikey” Whitehead; seven nieces and nephews who he adored; including his best buddy, R.J. Whitehead.
A graveside service to celebrate Steve’s life will be held at 2:00pm Friday, March 31, 2023 at Gibsonville City Cemetery by Rev. Darrell Gaines. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
