Billy Jackson Wilson
He was born March 10,1950 to Bryan Jackson and Zelma Lea (Goings) Wilson.
First of all, Billy loved the Lord, he had a hunger and thirst to know more about Jesus. He was a member of the County Line Baptist Church for many years. He loved his Bible and books! From a small child, his Grandpa Goings, a church of Christ minister and his Grandma Goings read aloud the Bible to him and taught him many things instilling the desire to learn more. Billy was an authentic cowboy. He could do any kind of ranch work and run heavy equipment.
Billy had an infectious laugh that made everyone else laugh too! He will be greatly missed. He loved his guitar and singing for hours on end. He had participated in two bluegrass bands. Billy was a jewel on earth, and he is a jewel in Heaven now. Billy was a furious protector of his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanie (Smith) Wilson, his daughter, Michelle (Bruce) Wilkerson and his son, Jeremy (Melinda) Wilson. Six grandchildren: Brittany, Colton, Jacob, Ely, Levi and Mayce. Four great grandchildren: Alivia, McKenna, Graycen and Rayleigh. He also survived by his sisters Kathy Wilson and sister in-laws Nadine (Jon) Bussard, Judy (Stan) Whitson, Caroline Smith. Many nephews and nieces and friends to numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his parents,
Bryan Jackson and Zelma Lea Wilson, his father and mother in-law, James and Theresa Smith, sister Patsy (Wilson) Newberry, three brother in-laws Duane Brandon, Hubert Smith, Wayne Smith and one sister in-law Norma Smith.
Visitation Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 09, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church in Wirth, Arkansas, with Funeral Service starting at 11:00 a.m. with Brother David Ball officiating.
