Kinder-Celebration of Life services honoring Biney "Ida" Landry, 43, will be held at 10 o'clock a.m. on Tuesday morning, July 15, 2025, at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Phoebe James will officiate. "Ida" will be laid to rest at St. Peters Cemetery in Elton, LA immediately following her services.
"Ida's" family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Monday evening, July 14, 2025, from 4-9 o'clock p.m. "Ida's" visitation will resume at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Tuesday morning, July 15, 2025, from 8 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of "Ida's" arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.
Ida was a loving mother and grandmother who dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. "Ida" loved listening to music, riding motorcycles, having her nails manicured and "dressing up". She was a member of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana and loved anything tribe related, especially the pow-wow. "Ida" will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish "Ida's" memory include her mother, Bernice Sylestine; one son, Kaleb Poullard, one daughter, Anya Langley; one brother, Dennis Landry Jr.; one sister, Elsie Lomas; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
"Ida" is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Landry Sr.; and one sister, Della Landry Mancil.
