E. Blaine Binggeli, 88, was born in Pocatello Idaho July 17 1937. He passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2 2025 at the Portneuf Medical Center. He was the third of 3 children born to Francis L. and Thressa H. Harris Binggeli . He also has 3 other siblings from his mother who was widowed very young. On October 18, 1957, he married the love of his life LaJuan Taylor. They shared 60 wonderful years before her passing on June 26 2017.
He briefly mined in Montana and worked at Eddy’s Bakery, Boise Cascade, operated his own electrical business for several years, Pickens Electric, and FMC all in Pocatello.
He enjoyed electronics, renovation and building projects at home, very good with his hands, mechanics and loved everything to do with horses. He owned several quarter horses through the years and was a long-time member of the Bannock County Mounted Sherrif’s Posse, competing against other riding clubs, trail rides, Portneuf Valley and Idaho State Championship Chariot Racing, hunting, and the great outdoors camping with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife of nearly 60 years. He is survived by his younger brother Ronnie Pocatello, Idaho, three Sons David of Amelia, Ohio. Kerry (Stephanie) of Ogden Utah. Jeffrey (Isabele) of Idaho Falls, Idaho. And Daughter Karlene Priest of Pocatello, Idaho. Also surviving him are 4 grandsons, 7 Granddaughters, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID. A visitation will be held prior beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S 5th Avenue, Pocatello, ID.
