Brandon Christopher Binggeli, 31, passed away after a short catastrophic illness.
He was a husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin and cherished friend to many.
Brandon was born on May 24, 1994 in Pasadena, California. Taken in to be fostered at 18 hours old and later adopted by his loving parents Irene and Fred Binggeli.
After his parents moved the family to Palisade, Colorado Brandon attended schools in Mesa County including Taylor Elementary, East Middle School (Challenge Program) and Palisade Highschool (International Baccalaureate Program) . After graduating in 2012, he attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah studying computer sciences and after one year decided to change paths and study culinary arts in Grand Junction. Brandon had many jobs in his short life trying to find something that he could become passionate about.
In July of this year he married the love of his life, Christine Mendenhall, whom he met in middle school 20 years ago.
They shared many years as friends making memories and later were roommates, got closer throughout the years and fell madly in love. Brandon finally asked Christine to marry him Christmas of 2024 and their wedding took place July 26th, 2025.
Brandon loved gaming, reading, cooking, camping and hanging out with his best buds. He was a passionate cat daddy to Smashmouth, Kenny and Tuna. A kind-hearted, compassionate, understanding and quiet nature aided Brandon in helping many overcome obstacles in their lives and his help with navigating life will be greatly missed.
Brandon was an amazing man who was always willing to handle the tough conversations and help guide you to make the right decisions, his kind and gentle nature is something that will be terribly missed by those who loved him.
He was everything to his sister, Elizabeth, and a life without him is impossible for her to imagine.
He was lucky to have a relationship with a biological sister, Sara Gustavson of San Juan Capistrano, California where he visited often as a boy. She was able to be present when he passed away.
Brandon is survived by his devoted wife, Christine, his parents Irene and Fred Binggeli, sisters Elizabeth Liu (Jiayi) and Sara Gustavson (Edson)
Nieces and nephews Grant, Paige, Grayson, Cruz, Roux and Joaquin.
He and Christine also have their God-son Thomas, whose father, Jared Brafford was part of Brandon's groomsmen party.
He is preceded in death by is grandparents Trina and Siegfried Binggeli and Rosa and Herman Krattiger.
