Blake Glaab Obituary
Blake Glaab, 29 years young, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. An amazing big brother, Blake's protective nature and deep love for his family were evident in everything he did. He was a proud graduate of Indiana University Southeast, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, driven by a desire to help others and make a difference in the world.
Blake's passions were many and varied. He was a devoted fan of UK basketball, a voracious reader, and a dedicated researcher. His love for the Lord guided his life, and he cherished his faith deeply. In his free time, Blake enjoyed gaming with friends, sharing many laughs and memorable moments. His cats held a special place in his heart, and he adored their companionship.
Known for his quick wit, intelligence, and gentle soul, Blake was a beacon of light to those who knew him. His humor could brighten any room, and his sensitivity allowed him to connect with others on a profound level. Though his time here was short, Blake's impact on those who loved him will endure forever.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Phillip and Ethyl Fuller; maternal great grandparents, Benjamin and Lila Coghill; paternal great grandparents, Charles and Viola Higgins; and paternal grandfather, Darold Glaab.
Survivors include his mother, Melanie Coghill; father, Brian Glaab and second mother, Lori; brother, Cole Glaab; maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Rozetta Crook and John and Linda Coghill; paternal grandparents, Patricia Glaab and Larry and Lynn Smith; uncles, John Coghill and Dustin Crook (Chasie); cousin, Julionna, Morgan, and Nicholas; his beloved fur babies, Bug, Lily, Ali, Kinky, Gizmo, Sophie, Forrest, and Macy.
Visitation will be held 1-6 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway. Funeral services in honor of his life will be celebrated 6 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home.
