Blake Richard Gratner age 43, passed away on April 25, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Okla. Graveside services will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Durwood Cemetery with Pastor Stanly Shomo officiating.
Blake was born in Lawton, Okla. on January 18, 1980, to Richard Gratner and Marquetta Taylor Gratner. He attended and graduated from Ardmore High School with the class of 1998. He went on to attended Southern Oklahoma State University where he studied business and then was a graduate of Southern School of Beauty. He worked as a medical assistant at Revive Men's Health in Oklahoma City. He then moved to Ardmore to care for his mother. After moving to Ardmore, his health began to fail him. He loved to listen to music and spending time with his family. Blake will be remembered for his party planning and always being up to help decorate the home.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Blake is survived by his life companion, Michael Gallagher, of the home, mother Marquetta Gratner, of Lone Grove and father, Richard Gratner and wife, Deborah, of Ardmore., brothers, Derick Postoak, of Lone Grove, Rodney Postoak, of Lone Grove, and Brandon Preston and family, sisters, Deana Ward and Leja Ledford, nieces and nephews, Hailey Postoak, Dasan Postoak, Kendra Postoak, Rodney Postoak JR. and Myah Postoak, aunts, Terry Sampson and her husband, Ronnie, Myrna Boston, Doreen Martinez, and Tammy Stiles, and uncle, Jimmy Gratner.
Prayer services will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Monday, May 1, 2023, in the Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
