JASON DEON "JIMBO" SWINDALL
Jason Deon "Jimbo" Swindall, age 46, passed away on August 21, 2025, in Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 29, 2025, at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Interment to follow in Jehovah Cemetery.
Jason was born on July 3, 1979, a beaming happy boy, son of Lawanna "Neicy" Swindall (Stanley) and Sam Burrell (Charlotte). Jason grew up loving sports, especially baseball and football. Jason attended and graduated from Ardmore Public Schools. He always proudly claimed his class of 97 to anyone who'd listen.
After a short stint at Langston, Jason decided he wanted to come back home and give work a try and he found it at Dollar General Warehouse where he dedicated nearly 28 years and built relationships with many of his colleagues. Jason loved to go to rodeos where he built a family with the Southern Riders. Summer weekends if you wanted to hang with The Southern Riders and a rodeo wasn't going on, all you had to do was go to Jason's house, where there'd be food, laughs and memories made. Jason always opened his home to his loved ones, if his younger cousins needed a break from family or the rodeo kids needed a moment's break, they could find it at Jason's.
Jason was so much to so many and will truly be loved and missed.
He was preceded in his home going by his mother, Lawanna Swindall, his grandparents; Wade and Kathryn Shannon, Delano Swindall, Samual and Regina Burrell and sister, Tyrhonda Burrell.
His memory is carried on by partner, Shalexia Fuller, children; Brodie Swindall and Bash Swindall, and bonus children; Bella and Prince. Brothers; Dawond Swindall (Mandy) of Texas, Cameron Swindall (LeeAnn), Atavian Swindall (Shaunna), both of Ardmore, Okla., and Greg Burrell. Nephews; Xavier Swindall, Cameron Swindall Jr., Tay Swindall Jr., and Tyler Burrell. Nieces; Kenya Swindall, Jaedyn Swindall, Kiyah Swindall, Elaunna Swindall and Teela Burrell. He also leaves behind his aunts, Ruby Patton (Archie), Kathy Swindall Shannon, Sharon Shannon Stephens, uncles; Ricky Swindall (Eva), Larry Swindall (Maxine), Grandmother Louvon Agers and a host of cousins and special friends.
