Blanche (LaBrie) Gagnon, 102, of Amity St., Fall River, formerly of Center St., died Friday, April 25, 2003 at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.

She was the widow of Charles B. Gagnon, Sr.

A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Marcelin and Aloysia (Stebenne) LaBrie.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of St. Anne Parish and a former member of the Friendly Neighbors Senior Citizens Club.

She is survived by 4 sons, Robert J. Gagnon and his wife Mary, Charles B. Gagnon, Jr. and his wife Barbara and Donald G. Gagnon and his wife Jeannette, all of Fall River and George Gagnon and his wife Irene of No. Dartmouth;

4 daughters, Jeannette Paquette and her husband Laurent of Somerset and Claire Berube and her husband Normand, Marguerite “Margi” Gagnon and Georgette McDonald and her husband John, all of Fall River;

27 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Armand R. Gagnon and the sister of the late Frank and George LaBrie, Hedwidge Cote and Marie Louise Begnoche.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church, So. Main St., at 10:00. Visitation, Monday 4 :00 to 8 :00 p.m..
