In Loving Memory of "Janey" Blanche Eujane Ingram

February 12, 1941 – July 19, 2025

With fond remembrance, we honor the life of "Janey" Blanche Eujane Maris Ingram, who departed this world on July 19, 2025. Born in Dallas, Texas on February 12, 1941, Janey was a cherished daughter of Fred Maris and Blanche Thomas Maris. From the beginning, her life was woven with love, resilience, and steadfast faith. A cherished wife, a loving mother, and a treasured Mamaw, Janey's creative touch and love will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her.

Janey's journey through motherhood was marked by warmth and resourcefulness. She started a home day care so she could be present for her daughters and put aside extra money for family vacations and memorable Christmases. As her daughters grew up and began their own lives, Janey took on a new role as toy department manager at the Burleson Walmart, finding fulfillment in her work. Through each chapter, Janey's devotion brought joy and comfort to her family, leaving behind memories filled with love and kindness.

For Janey, holidays were not just dates on a calendar. Instead, holidays were heartfelt celebrations of togetherness and love, made even more special by the warmth of her kitchen and the bonds she nurtured with each pie and memory shared. She took tremendous joy in opening her home to family during the holidays, creating treasured gatherings for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She found deep meaning in preserving her mother's cherished recipes, lovingly passing them down so that future generations could savor the same pies, flavors and traditions.

As "Mamaw," Janey cherished her opportunities to cheer from the sidelines at sporting events and musical concerts, often present for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her legacy is more than the sum of her years; it is the laughter echoing through her home, the stories passed down, and the traditions that will warm hearts for generations.

In her later years, Janey found joy in the company of her beloved grandpuppies, Baja and Rosie, cherishing every moment spent with them outdoors. Her daily walks through local parks were a celebration of her special bond with Baja and Rosie and the happiness she found in exploring nature by their side. She also found peace in Colorado's majestic Rocky Mountains, especially during her favorite season, autumn, when the hills blazed with golden aspens and crimson leaves, a reflection of the warmth she carried in her heart.

Janey was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty years, Albert Dee Ingram, whom she called her reason for living, as well as her older sister, Patricia Maris Coleman; her younger brother, Thomas Lynn Maris; and her baby brother, Irwin Lee Maris. The memory of their laughter and companionship remained close to her heart, fueling her longing to be reunited with them and her Lord Jesus Christ, whom she trusted faithfully throughout her days. Now in Heaven with her husband, parents, and siblings, Janey is surely celebrating on streets of gold. Though she will be dearly missed by many, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed by her kindness and love.

Janey's legacy echoes resoundingly through the lives of her two daughters, Robin Turner (Daniel) and Tracy Lynn Ingram; her eight grandchildren: Jennifer Womack (Israel), Carrie Turner (Brian), Danielle Turner, Janey Whisenant (Chris), Kara Whisenant Ingram, Heidi Ingram (Christopher), Brad Ingram (Lauren), and Keli Whisenant Reyes (Benito); her twenty-two great-grandchildren: Andrew Womack, Blake Womack (Brenna), Thomas Womack, Rylee Monroy, Wrenley Ezeh, Jewelie Perry, Mia Perry, Caleb Swinyer, Jayde Swinyer, Adalynn Ingram, Dominic Olsen (Madison), Bjorn Olsen, Magnus Olsen, Freyja Olsen, Donovan Ingram, Michael Ingram, Vincent Ingram, Sullivan Ingram, Kyli Ingram, Benito "Eli" Reyes, Julian Reyes, and Evianna Reyes; her great-great-grandchildren: Laikyn, Lainey, and Baby Olsen; and her youngest brother, Jim Jared.

On Monday, August 4, 2025 at 10:00am, Jeter and Son Funeral Home (4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211) will host a memorial service honoring Janey's life. Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery will also host a brief burial service on August 4th, 2025, at 11:30 am. Rest in peace, Janey. Your love and faith have left an indelible mark upon this world, and you will be cherished and missed always.
