Blanche G. Sigl, 86, formerly of De Pere, Wisconsin, passed away at a hospital in Naples, Florida on April 25, 2024. Blanche (known to her family as friends as Bea) was born September 11, 1937, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Heezen) Baeten.
Blanche worked at Fort Howard where she met Alvin Sigl. Blanche was united in marriage to Alvin on July 19, 1958, and they made their home in De Pere, Wisconsin where they raised four children. After their marriage Blanche worked as a realtor and stated she loved making others' dreams come true with just the right home.
Alvin and Blanche belonged to the Green Bay Yacht Club and enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends on their boat for many years. During their time traveling they found they loved Florida. After Alvin's retirement they were snowbirds for years and eventually moved to Naples, Florida in 2001 where Blanche continued her career as a realtor. She completely stopped working soon after Alvin passed away in 2013. She then purchased a small cabin in Pound, WI and would spend the summer in WI visiting family and friends.
Blanche is survived by her children; Theresa Bork (Phillip Wills) of Naples, FL, Mary Kay (Wayne) Vander Loop of Pound, WI, and Bruce (Patti) Sigl of De Pere, WI. Blanche's grandchildren also survived her; Luke (Jodie) Sigl, Robin and Alex Bork, Tomas (Renee) Vander Loop, Maria (Kaz) Dieckmann, Josh and Nick Sigl, and Marissa Besson. Seven great-grandchildren; Conor and Kayden Sigl, Noah and Kailee Vander Loop, and Conor, Serenity, and Rinoa Dieckmann. Her sister Ellie (Baeten) Teresinski and brother Larry Baeten.
Blanche was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvin Sigl, two brothers, Father Lambert Baeten and Earl Baeten, her son Douglas Sigl and two grandchildren Jacob Alvin Sigl and Susan Vander Loop.
Friends may call Saturday June 8, 2024, at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, from 10:00AM until time of service at 12:00PM.
