Blanche Williams Obituary

Published by Legacy on May 5, 2025.
Blanche Addie Williams, affectionately known as "Aunt Bebe," passed away peacefully at home in Audubon Park, NJ, on May 2, 2025, at the age of 69, following a brief but courageous battle with esophageal cancer. She was lovingly cared for in her final days by her devoted cousin, Donna McGee.
Born on October 20, 1955, to the late Herbert Raymond Williams and the late Helen Louvenia Williams (née Hennessy), Blanche was a lifelong resident of Audubon Park. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Holly Williams, and her dearest friend, Dottie Marks.
Blanche is lovingly remembered by her nieces, Stephanie Tracy (Justin) and Kayleigh Reim (Christopher); her cherished great-nieces and nephews, Jackson, Blake, Michaela, Benjamin, Challen, Tess, and Nash; and her faithful feline companion, Lizzie Lee. She was also blessed by the love and friendship of many extended family members and dear friends, including Mark, Jean, and Patty.
A graduate of Collingswood High School, Blanche also attended St. John of God. She enjoyed a long and devoted work career, with positions at Bradlee's, K-Mart, and most recently, 2nd Chance Boutique.
To know Blanche was to love her. She had a kind heart, a generous spirit, and truly never met a stranger. Her warmth and humor touched everyone she encountered-from her beloved church family at Haddon Heights Baptist Church to her many friends at the community center, bingo nights, crochet and ceramics clubs, and everywhere in between.
A woman of deep faith and quiet strength, Blanche found joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a lifelong love for animals and was a devoted fur mom to many cherished cats over the years-Buddy, Belle, Benny, and most recently, Lizzie Lee. Blanche loved being near the water and could happily spend hours floating in any pool. She was famously fond of desserts-always opting for "just a little bit of each." A proud Phillies fan, she rarely missed a game. Let's win the ring for her, boys!
Blanche's legacy of love, kindness, and community will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
There will be a viewing, Monday May 12, 2025 from 9am to 11am at Haddon Heights Baptist Church 300 Station Avenue Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. Funeral Service to begin at 11am. Interment to be held at 1:30pm at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans t Memorial Cemetery 350 Provinceline Road Wrightstown, NJ 08562.

Blanche will be missed by all the friends that she made while attending the Carol Norcross Senior Social Wellness Center. Blanche took all of our new members under her wing and would be there to show them around so they always had a friend from the first day they walked in.
Her beautiful smile , compassion and willingness to always lend a hand are missed by all the seniors as well as the staff,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
