Walter R Trout, age 80, passed away at Serenity Hospice Care in Hamilton, NJ on Friday, August 29, 2025.
Born in Camden, NJ, he lived in Williamstown, Washington Township and Clementon, NJ. Walt graduated from Williamstown High School in 1963 and worked at WB Saunders company in Philadelphia. He was a veteran of the US Army. Volunteered in the Williamstown and Grenloch Fire Companies.
Walt is survived by his five children, Veronica Scully (Ray), Joanna Filipkowski (Ron), Sarah Hutchinson (Tom), Leah Parks (Andrew) and Gregory Trout. He is also survived by his sister Christena Ferroni (Arnold) and his 11 Grandchildren and 4 great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Shirley Trout.
Services will be held at Gardner Funeral Home in Runnemede. Friends and family are invited to the funeral home on Thursday, September 11, 2025 between 6-8 pm. Final prayers and Internment will take place 11am Friday, September 12, 2025 at Brigadier General William C Doyle Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Walt's memory to Meals on Wheels Mercer County at www.mealsonwheelsmercer.org or Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org.
