Blondean Carrington

Mrs. Blondean Miller Carrington, age 78, died Friday August 29, 2025, at Westwood Nursing Center, under the care of Regency SouthernCare Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Winton Tuft Miller and Evalena Sheffield Miller.
Blondean was 1965 graduate of Marvin Pittman Laboratory School. She married Harold Carrington in 1967. She began her employment with the Statesboro Telephone Company, where she was employed for over 20 years until her retirement. She and her husband later owned and operated a cleaning business for many years.
She was a member of Macedonia Baptist church
Blondean was preceded in death by her parents; a son Kevin Carrington and a granddaughter, Alexis Carrington.
Surviving are her husband, Harold Kenneth Carrington; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Jay and Miranda Carrington and Ken Carrington all of Statesboro; four grandchildren, Ryan Carrington, Kymberlyn Carrington, Kaelynn Fielder and Kyleigh Fielder; two sisters, Gloria Miller and Debbie Silkett both of Atlanta and two great grandchildren, Addyson and Bailey Olin.
Services will be Sunday August 31, 2025, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Lynward Campbell officiating.
The family will receive visitors following the service.
