Bob Barrett
March 31st, 1945- October 5th, 2025
Beloved husband of Norma (Nee Mugica) Barrett. Devoted son of George and Marie Barrett (Nee Boehme). Loving father of Kevin (Jill) Barrett, Keith (Janette) Barrett, and Kelly (Drew) Trocchio (née Barrett). Proud grandfather of Lexi Pizano, Becca Barrett, and Aiden Barrett.
Dear brother of the late Evelyn Soiret and Kenneth Barrett. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A proud U.S. Navy Seabee, he served his country honorably in Vietnam. He was a dedicated member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. A lifelong Scout, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and went on to serve as a Scout Master, guiding and inspiring many.
Visitation will be held at
McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home
530 W. Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440
on Sunday, October 12th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a service at 4:30 PM
Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wounded Warriors Project, and Autism Society of Illinois.
