He was predeceased by his parents, Henry Jeter Barrett and Glady Bramble Barrett, and will be deeply missed by his lifelong partner, Cecelia Boyer, his sons Jeter Ray Barrett Jr. (Amber-Marie) and Nathan David Rogers, his sisters Gladys Virginia Elton (Johnny) and Linda Barrett Jeter (Julian), and his grandchildren, Dylan Lee Dodson, Cayden Mather Dodson, Jaelynn-Marie Ray Barrett, Jeter Ray Barrett III, Wesley Hunter Barrett, Kalaya Marie Barrett, and Riverleigh-May Blanche Barrett.
