Robert Paul Geno, 99, received his heavenly reward on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James.

The beloved husband of the late Betty Jo Geno (nee Atkinson); loving father of Michele Hobson (John), Cristy Geno Rasmussen; treasured grandpa of Tony Hobson (Samantha), Brad Hobson, Klara Rasmussen, Jack Rasmussen; dear brother of Lawrence Geno, Lee Anderson, Naomi Baczynski and was preceded by Rolla Geno, Jean Fehl and Louis Geno. He was the loving son of the late Rolla and Sybilla Geno (nee Geiss). Bob was a loving cousin, brother-in-law, uncle and dear friend.

Bob was an avid fisherman, enjoyed spending time outside and being at the Lake of the Ozarks. When he lived in the city, he enjoyed taking care of a huge beautiful garden. Bob was a very proud WWII Navy veteran, which lead to a life long habit of everything being neat. orderly and clean. He was very active, he learned to snow ski at the age of 75 and kept the lake house until he was in his early 90's. Time with his family was important to him and he treasured his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 11:00 am at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles 63304. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am on Thursday.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors.

Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James, MO.
