Jeffrey Scott Cook of University City, MO passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Born on December 16, 1963, to the late Glen R. and Glenna E. Cook (nee: Mouser.) He had reached the age of 62 years.

Jeffrey worked at Florissant Valley Workshop for many years. When he moved to St. Peters, MO he went to work for BCI Inc that hired those with disabilities. He enjoyed bowling and activities with Community Living.

Jeff received a Gold, Silver,and Bronze medal in swimming with the special Olympics, which he was so proud of. He loved to play the guitar and sing. He enjoyed Country music, Johnny Cash was his favorite and he could often be heard singing his songs. Family was so important to Jeff, and always loved any time he could spend with them.

Above all else, Jeff was a devoted Christian and loved to share his faith with everyone. He loved to sing about Jesus and listen to Gospel music.

Those whom will remain grateful for having shared in Jeff's life are his loving siblings, Jerry (Jackie) Cook, David (Joan) Cook, and Martha (Ken) Rimell; dear brother in law, Jim Hamman; he was a wonderful uncle to his 10 cherished nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Glenna Cook; one sister, Peggy Hamman (nee: Cook), and sister in law, Becky Cook. He was a loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend of many, he will be missed by all who knew him.

A visitation for Jeff will be held from 9:30am-10:30am on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with a 10:30am Funeral Service to immediately follow at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304. Burial will follow in Valhalla Garden of Memory, Belleville, IL.

Memorial donations are appreciated to Sunnyhill Inc. or RHD of Missouri in honor of Jeff.
