Bob Hart

Ellis Robert Hart "Bob" age 75, died unexpectedly April 23, 2025, at his residence in Elmira, Michigan. Bob was born August 23, 1949, in Saginaw, Michigan the son of the late Robert William Hart and the late Mary Jane (nee: Hayes) Hart.
Bob was raised in Rosebush and Mount Pleasant, Michigan, where he graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1968. He later served his country honorably during the Vietnam War within the United States Marine Corps. Following his service Bob returned home and went to work for General Motors in Saginaw working as a fork-truck lift operator.
Bob married his wife Vallery in 1975, and the couple celebrated 50 years of matrimony. Following his work for General Motors, Bob went to work for the Iron Workers Local #25. Bob was a dedicated and hardworking individual who worked his way up to Journeyman and Foreman for the Iron Workers. Bob loved his job and took him to various locations around the state of Michigan fabricating steel structures. He eventually retired after 30 years of faithful service.
Away from work, Bob life evolved around his family, his farm, and his animals. Bob cherished his grandchildren, and also loved to hunt, fish, and trap many different creatures. He enjoyed hunting deer and trying for a bear. The outdoors was his playground and tending to his farm, the horses, and the cows just put a smile on Bob's face. His quiet down time was usually spent watching a John Wayne movie, having some ice cream or whenever he could eat some white cake.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Vallery Jo, and his dear children, Dennis (Sharon) Schaar, Jerame (Vicky) Schaar, Mary Jolynn Hart, Johanna Lee Hart, Bobbi Jo (Aaron) Barnes, and the late Gwendolyn Faith Hart. His grandchildren, Ryan, Bradley, Gracie Faith, Brianna, Kadin, Seven Faith, Chase, Trigger Jet, River, Rayna, Gabriel Robert, Raphael Ellis Banks, and great-grandchildren, Peyton, and Carson. He is further survived by his siblings, Lynn (the late Robert) Nesgoda, and Kris (Rich) Sage.
