Bob Krieger Obituary

Robert Krieger, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the hospice home in Bakersfield, California.
Robert was born on October 6, 1946, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Jacob and Vivian Krieger. He graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1964 and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1970, including a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969.
Following his military service, Robert worked as a master carpenter for most of his life, a trade he deeply loved and excelled at. In 1985, he moved to California, where he helped build many homes and communities with his craftsmanship.
In November 1990, Robert married Kathy Harris Rezac of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and together they made their home in Tehachapi, California.
Robert enjoyed traveling, reading, and building beautiful cabinets. Above all, he had a special love for his cats, who brought him great comfort and joy.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; her two sons, Brad and Brian Rezac of Cheyenne, Wyoming; his daughter, Kristina Powell of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his sister, Carolyn Krieger Hulon of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Robert was a member of Mountain Bible Church in Tehachapi, California.
No public services are planned. A private interment will take place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens in Wyoming.
