Bob Miller was born on April 10, 1935, in Goodman, Mo. He passed away on September 11, 2025, in Buffalo, Mo. He is survived by brother Lloyd Miller and wife Rose Miller of Oklahoma, daughter Denise Wilhoite of Cadet, Mo, son Dean Miller and wife Cindy Miller of Buffalo, Mo, son Sam Miller and special friend Carla Miller-Follin of Lowery City, Mo, and son Glen Miller and wife Linda Miller of Buffalo, Mo. Five grandsons; Brady Miller, Josh Miller, Jody Wing, Austin Miller, and Rylee Stoner, four granddaughters; Toni Scarber, Amber Hardison, Haley Miller, Kristin Miller, he also had numerous great grandchildren, extended family and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Mary (Pitts) Miller, brother Earl Miller, sister Connie Nicholas, sister Ruby Holmes, sister Leota Miller, and sister Marilyn Charlton, son Otis Miller, daughter Michelle Miller, son Darrell Miller, granddaughter Brykn Miller and grandson Brandon Miller. Bob grew up in Goodman, Mo. He was drafted into the Army and served in the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he worked in the oil field. Bob made the move to Miller, Mo and began working as a carpenter. In 1971, he moved to Buffalo, Mo and began dairy farming. He was president of Vanguard Milk Producers of Missouri. Bob loved to go fishing with his sons and grandsons. He loved having family BBQs. He was an excellent pinocle player, he and son Dean won many games together. Bob was an expert shuffleboard player. He was dearly loved by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. We love you Dad, rest in peace. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, 2025, with visitation from 1-2 pm with formal service beginning at 2 pm with Terry Harris officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery near Louisburg, Mo with pallbearers being Brady Miller, Josh Miller, Austin Miller, Jody Wing, Rylee Stoner, and Jeff Hardison, honorary pallbearers Butch Rankin and Larry Hicks. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo, Missouri.
