Bob loved sports and competition. He lived a connected and grounded life, focused on his family and his work. His greatest joy was time spent with Ruth Ann, their four children - Tim (Kelly), Joan (Kevin), John (Kelli), and Mary (Kevin) - their 12 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Bob will be remembered for his sense of humor, hard work and showing up every day, year after year, for his family and students.
